MADONNA: Sticky and Sweet Miami Suprise Guests Pharrell and Timbaland!

So last night was my final Sticky and Sweet show, and Madonna's last show in the US. Unlike the LA show, last nights musical guests were a complete surprise! We got Timbaland for 4 minutes, who's dancing had me laughing so hard and Pharrell for Give It To Me!

Madonna was having a blast last night, really enjoying herself and interacting with the audience. She seemed EXTRA sexual tonight, maybe because AROD was front row ;)

I'm grateful I got the chance to see her live this year, it was of the best concerts I've ever been too. The Mack has returned...again! I found this track while browsing the internet today and I had to share it with you all. It's a remix of (if you haven't guessed it yet) Mark Morrison's Return of The Mack. NO DOUBT: BACK WITH NEW ALBUM + GREATEST HITS TOUR!

According to a recent Billboard.com article, No Doubt are returning to touring in 2009 and will also be working on new material.

The group made the announcement via an instant message transcript posted on their official Web site, but did not provide specific details. "I have cabin fever. Maybe we should play some shows or something," guitarist Tom Dumont wrote. Gwen Stefani answered, "I think we should go out now. I don't think we should wait. Pack up the babies and get a bunch of nannies. So fun! Would be so inspiring to get out there and play all those songs again."

HEROES OF THE DANCEFLOOR: The Knack

Heroes of the Dancefloor are releasing Torch on November 24th. The project is a 'fusion of big band and swing Jazz, mixed with Hip Hop, R&B and dub influences with deep souldful vocals.' All profits from the release will go to two New York charities, ‘Picture the Homeless’ (www.picturethehomeless.org) and ‘Coalition for the Homeless’ (www.coalitionforthehomeless.org).

“Torch” lead vocals come from the playful and expressive chops of Mamazu; Gary Alesbrook, the trumpet player touring and recording with Kasabian and the Scissor Sisters; and James Morton, the sax player and keyboard player touring and recording with Pee Wee Ellis from the band of James Brown.

What a hot surprise for your Wednesday morning! If you are a fan of Timbaland's work, you will most likely not be disappointed from his latest collaboration with Jamie Foxx.

The track sounds similar to most of T's work, which has become quite predictable yet always hot! I love it. Foxx sounds pretty damn good, hopefully his album comes out in December and doesn't get pushed back like most other releases lately...

I never thought there would be a day where Ace of Base would come back after they were so popular in the mid 90's, and here I sit, posting new 2009 remixes (reworks rather) of their most popular songs.

I've already posted my favorite of the lot, Wheel Of Fortune. I'm really not feeling the new versions of Don't Turn Around or Lucky Love. I loved the songs the way they were, and these updates sound instantly outdated. I really wanted to like them! I did!

It has been reported today, by Diva Report that the photo shoot for the rumored 2009 Louis Vuitton campaign took place today. Madonna was spotted off of Roberston Blvd in LA with photographer Steven Meisel..... Lets hope this is better that those ghastly Versace shots of a few years back!

Well we got confirmation from Arista today that this artwork for the new Whitney album that has been floating around the internet is indeed fake. Its actually an old Naomi Campbell shot thats been photoshopped, but we think its hilarious so we decided to post it anyway LOL.

In other news about the album Diane Warren has confirmed her involvement with the project..

"Oh, God, I'm working on so many things. I just did a song for Jennifer Hudson and for the Pussycat Dolls. I have a great song Whitney Houston's doing that I think she's going to sing as her comeback song. It's called "I Didn't Know My Own Strength" and I really wrote it for her-and I don't really write songs for people a lot of times, but I wrote that for her. She sounds great from what I heard."

Well I'm officially obsessed with Grace Jones's Hurricane album. This evening I stumbled across some Grace Jones demo's that I'm sharing with you. These two songs leaked together in 2007, so I would guess they are from the same session, but who knows?. 'Volunteer' was abandoned at an early stage, but I really think it could have been fabulous, it reminds me a lot of Madonna's Erotica, from how she whispers to the general sound.

THE B-52's: Give Me Back My Man (SuperJupiter Remix)

On November 1st 2008 The B-52's performed what can only be described as a phenomenal show at NYC's Hammerstein Ballroom.  At this show the worlds greatest party band performed many of their greatest hits.  One of the stand out performances was by Cindy Wilson singing her hit with The B-52's... Give Me Back My Man.  Not only was this a rare performance by the group but it was outstanding!

Britney came out for the second half of Human Nature, while Justin joined Madonna for 4 minutes. I'd have liked to see them all together for Give It To Me, that woulda been great.

The Script can be described as Celtic Soul, blending a hip hop-inspired lyrical flow with pop melodiousness, state-of-the-art R'n'B production with anthem-like rock dynamics, classic song construction with gritty contemporary narratives. Think U2 versus Timbaland, Van Morrison remixed by Teddy Riley with a bit of Justin Timberlake & Blake Lewis thrown in.

The trio's hit song We Cry was a top ten single, followed by the #1 smash-hit "The Man Who Can't Be Moved," which led to the debut album's chart entry at #1 in the UK and Ireland this past August, and is now platinum and double platinum, respectively! Look for the "The Man Who.." to be prominently featured in CBS show The Ghost Whisperer.

Last year,Money contributed to Timbaland's track Fantasy, off his Shock Value project that was insanely popular around the world. She's on her way to pop stardom with a new solo track called Future. It's a club joint, ready for dancin'.

More information to come soon, a full length rumored to be called Unlike Lady is planned for a 2009 release.

I'm still waiting for an absolutely amazing track from this album, considering the Stuart Price collaboration. Or maybe some club remixes!? I can't wait for the release.

JAMELIA: Break It Down, Tear It Up + New Album News

Jamelia has been out of the limelight for a minute, but she's back with plans to release a new album in 2009! The album will be the first to be released by Jamelia since parting ways with former record label Parlophone. Jamelia confirmed that she had been in the studio with producers Shea Taylor (Rihanna, Beyoncé, Janet Jackson) and Scyience (Jay-Z, John Legend, Mary J Blige).

Here is a brand new track that has just leaked, no confirmation yet if it will be included on the new album. It's a cute dance/pop/r&b track & you should check it out! She sounds like J.Lo at times, sometimes not.

LEFT EYE: Let's Just Do It (feat. TLC)

Eye Legacy will be the first posthumous album from late rapper Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes. One of the tracks from the album is Let's Just Do It and it features vocals from all three members of TLC! Other confirmed guest appearances including Tupac Shakur, Lil Mama, Chamillionaire, Missy Elliott, and Bobby Valentino. I know i'll overplay this one and I'm super glad to hear Lisa's voice again. Look for it on January 27th.

Heeee's Back!!  That's right Justin Timberlake is back with a brand new song titled Magic!  This track is pretty good, nothing too new or fresh.  Some of the track resembles his collaboration Dance 2Night that appears on Madonna's Hard Candy album.  It's worth a listen especially for the intro (apparently I enjoy it)   :)
