DRAGONETTE: Live at Santos Party House

The other week Hard Candy crew headed down to interview Martina from DRAGONETTE and catch their super late set at Santos Party House. If you’ve been paying attention you’ll know I last saw them way back in 2007 before the debut album GALORE was even released, It was exciting to see the progression of the band, thought they were fabulous back then, the confidence has grown and the show has got even slicker!

It was 1.30 a.m. on a Thursday but it was packed with plenty of hardcore fans, some gained from the remarkable new album FIXIN TO THRILL and some who have been around since GALORE days.

As you’ll have noticed visually these guys are pretty damn impressive with killer videos like FIXIN TO THRILL, in the flesh they don’t disappoint either! Martina worked a latex pair of pants struting around the stage to choruses of men and women excitedly shouting ‘We Love You!’ Dan also had his fair share of admiration, with girl waving their hands at him as he came to the front of the stage, I half expected a thong to fly up on stage!

The band performed a great set which was a brilliant mix of songs from their two albums. Check out all the videos on our YouTube Channel
