Ladyhawke announces tour dates, set to release new album in ’12

New Zealand’s Ladyhawke may release her sophomore album, the follow up to debut Ladyhawke in the Spring of ’12. Song titles include Vaccine, Blue Eyes and Sunday Drive. She tweets…

Ahem…So you guys…Just so ya’s know…New music is coming oh so soon….Stay tuned

As for the sound of the record…

It’s a lot heavier, guitar and drum-wise. I wanted a live feel. It’s an upbeat album, I swear!

.If you haven’t grabbed your copy of Pip Brown’s debut, you absolutely must – not one filler track, all killer. While recording the album, Brown found the time to remix Alex Winston‘s Sister Wife which you can preview here.

New material might just be performed when she hits the road next month, see if she’s coming to your area here.

While you wait, enjoy Ladyhawke/PNAU‘s Embrace from this album.
