Madonna’s new album to be released on Universal/Interscope

A tweet from Polydor France yesterday revealed that Madonna‘s upcoming studio album will be released under the Universal Music Group family imprint.

A huge international artist will be releasing it’s upcoming album with Universal – Polydor in France. More info soon! Any ideas?

Shortly after, they posted a link to song Frozen. Live Nation and Universal announced they’d be collaborating back in September, so it all fits together quite perfectly!

We’ve now just received word from a credible source and can exclusively reveal that the U.S. label will be Interscope, another part of the Universal family.

Other Universal artists include  Lady Gaga, Amy Winehouse, Florence + The Machine, etc. Is she in good hands? What do you think of this news?
