It’s a been a hot minute since we last heard from the brilliant UK Producer GRUM, now he’s back with a bang! His anthemic remix of Cahill’s ‘Feel The Love,’ takes us on a nostalgia filled trip back to the 90s! You’ve gotta love that house piano!
Also, over the weekend Annie Mac shared his latest original tune ‘Everytime.’ Sounds like GRUM is coming back in a big way!
Are you feeling these tunes?
While we wait for Grum‘s follow up to the 80’s flavored Heartbeats debut in 2010, here’s his remix of Light Me Up by West London pop trio Lonsdale Boys Club.
The Scottish producer plans to release more remixes leading up to the release of the new album, including a Paper Crows rework. Are you ready for new Grum?
One of my favorite + pretty much underrated album of late is Black Light by Groove Armada. Paper Romance, I Wont Kneel and Cards to Your Heart get repeated play on my iPod + everywhere else I listen to music! Love the artwork from this album, all singles have had awesome pack shots!
The duo are releasing the Will Young fronted single History next and here is the Grum remix! He never fails to impress! Found this mix over at 514Blog based out of Montreal! Check ‘em out! - Matt
History (Grum Remix)
GRUM certainly has a knack for making hilarious videos! First we got the food porn inspired Can’t Shake The Feeling and now he’s back with this homo-erotic pornstache fest for Through The Night. This was not quite what I thought he had in mind when he talked with us about making driving music! (interview coming later this week) This video had me dying from scene one, spend a few minutes with these bumbling idiots this afternoon it will brighten your day!
I have a great one for you guys today! We just been given a pair of tickets to Grum‘s show at Webster Hall here in NYC to give away to a lucky reader! Will it be YOU!?
If you Cant Shake The Feeling and are dying to see this electronic music maven live and in person, head on over to Facebook and make sure you are a fan! Then just leave a comment on our wall expressing your love of Grum!

We’re super excited to offer you this opportunity +thank you all for reading the site on a regular basis. Good luck + see you at the show! – Matt
Camille and I just got off the phone with Grum, who we were asked to interview for the site. As he spoke about his influences and growing success we immediately noted his fine tuned focus on the craft. He’s a very important emerging talent to pay attention to, after remixing Lady Gaga, Goldfrapp, Passion Pit and releasing his own solo album Heartbeats to critical acclaim.
The Scotland based DJ/producer loves soft rock, 80’s music and of course dance/electronic jams. Check out his official summer mixtape + the video for single Can’t Shake This Feeling below. U.S. fans can catch him on tour this July! - Matt
UPCOMING TOUR DATES

I was DJing at Bull Moose in NYC’s Hell’s Kitchen over the weekend and a friend dropped by with his USB stick and the Grum remix of Oh No! by Marina & The Diamonds. It’s one of my favorites off the album, with its super pop chorus + backup vocals that sound like they were lifted straight from a Tim Burton movie. The official video has also just premiered, and I have to say it’s my least favorite video by Marina. Very uncreative, boring and just blah. Too bad, the track is hot! I’m also pretty hyped over the Sanna + Pitron mix which I will share soon! - Matt
Rocket (Grum Remix)
GRUM is another artist that grabbed my attention with his remix of Goldfrapp’s Rocket he’s also done mixes for Gaga, Friendly Fires and a bunch of others. GRUM has released several tracks including Runaway, Heartbeats and Sound Reaction and a couple of weeks ago I saw this comical little video for his new one Can’t Shake This Feeling that I should have posted on here! You can check it out below and get familiar with him by downloading the mix he did for Annie Mac. He’s going be playing a few dates over here shortly is support of his album Heartbeats due for release on May 18th, so go check him out – I’ll be at Santos!
