Owlle: Disorder (Moonlight Matters Remix)

It’s been a little while since we last heard from Moonlight Matters, but today we have he’s made a welcome return with his mix of french dreampop artist Owlle‘s ‘Disorder.‘ It’s an excellent mix that boasts seductive synths and a stunning vocal, an absolute delight!

The original track can be found on Owlle’s recently released 3-track EP ‘Tricky Tricky‘ which is well worth a listen.

I’ve been loving the album version of this one, an amalgamation of 80’s pop hook sensibility and early 90’s house. Check out the original here, the Punks Jump Up remix here and grab your free download below.

Have you checked out the Cloudbusting remix by the big mouse? Yeah, Kate Bush! Listen here.

Alex Winston: Sister Wife (Ladyhawke, Moonlight Matters + Starslinger Remixes)

Alex Winston Sister Wife Single Cover Artwork

One of my favorite upcoming New York based bands are The Knocks, whom you may have enjoyed Dancing With The DJ from late last year.

They’ve been working with Detroit born newcomer Alex Winston on her debut album expected in August 2011. The Sister Wife mini-album was released in February to hold us all over!

Lead single Sister Wife gets the remix treatment from Hard Candy favorites Ladyhawke and Moonlight Matters, as well as Starslinger. Love the dance-able vibe of the Moonlight mix! Could we possible be given a glimpse into Ladyhawke’s new sound with her remix? Leave your comments below! - Matt

Clare Maguire: The Last Dance (Moonlight Matters Remix)

Clare Maguire

After spending a few weeks playing Clare Maguire‘s debut album Light After Dark in multiple locations, i’m absolutely amazed by the talent she possesses – right from the start of her music career.

Written in memory of Michael Jackson on the day he died, The Last Dance is one of the best cuts on the album…but certainly not the only gem!  Enjoy a free download of the Moonlight Matters remix which just arrived in our inbox this morning! This is my favorite mix of this song right now, with the Danny Byrd remix coming in close second! - Matt
