Tyson: Out of my Mind (Star Slinger Mix) + Original

There is nothing I love more than discovering music from fresh talent to share with you.  Here is London-based Tyson, a guy that I think you’ll be seeing a lot more of on Hard Candy in the coming months.

The first track of his to catch my attention was Out Of My Mind, it’s really just ridiculously good, late 70’s/early 80’s disco infused dance music that just oozes cool. Though I prefer the original version, the Star Slinger remix has also racked up numerous plays over the past few days.

Tyson had this to say about his music…

“People forgot how to be stars…I’m trying to bring back authentic analogue music that sounds real. I wanted to make something horrible and very, very nasty, so when people heard it they would say ‘urgh’ but in a good way…”.

Based on this and Die on the Dancefloor his previous buzz making track, I think that he’s succeeded early on in meeting his goal, and I’m ready to hear what else he has up his sleeve!Camille
